MEET THE COACHES
Dave Dolecki has played hockey for the last 40 years. He grew up playing in the MTHL AAA level and was drafted in the OHL to the London Knights. He later played Junior for 4 seasons and played CIAU. At the age of 22 he opened The Crease Goaltending Academy, which is now 1 of the biggest goalie schools in the world. Dave is currently the goalie coach of the Milton Menace (OJHL), he runs his own HP program, as well as Everest academy the last 10 years, St. martin the last 5 years and Bronco Academy. In 2014 Dave became co-owner of Just Shoot It Oakville and made a partnership with Base hockey as the Ontario Rep. Dave is a certified Base and Sense instructor. Dave is in charge of the everyday operation of JSI Hockey.
Clint Owen has played hockey for the last 40 years. He grew up playing in the MTHL AAA level. He later played Metro Jrs A with the Wexford Raiders winning a championship title in 1993 and then received a full scholarship to NCAA St. Lawrence Division 1. After his college career he player 5 years pro at the ECHL, WPHL, CHL and BNL. In 2014 Clint became co owner of Just Shoot It Oakville. Clint is in charge of The Crease Goaltending Academy at JSI Hockey, he is also in charge of corporate events, birthday parties and our promo department.
Mike Crampton has played hockey the last 20 years. He played at the AAA and college level. He has been our head instructor in Oakville the last 5 years and is a certified Base and Sense instructor. Mike works at JSI Hockey Oakville location and is in charge of player development. Mike specializes in rebuilding a players shot using our step by step “build a shooter” Process. Mike creates a positive energy and an enjoyable atmosphere for players to achieve their highest potential.
Nick Pastorious has played hockey for the last 16 years. He grew up playing GTHL AAA and played in the OHL for 5 seasons. He later played some minor professional before retiring in 2019. Nick has also worked 3 years at a hockey store and is in charge of our pro shop in Oakville. Nick has works with The Crease Goaltending Academy for the last 5 years and is a certified Base and Sense instructor. Nick works at JSI Hockey Oakville location.
Dave Pacan was born in Ottawa, ON. He has played hockey for the last 25 years. Dave played his minor hockey in Ottawa, He played in the OHL with the Niagra IceDogs and was drafted but the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2009 entry draft. He currently plays for the Brampton Beast of the ECHL, he has played in the AHL, ECHL and Slovak league. Dave is a certified Base and Sense instructor. Dave works at the JSI Hockey Etobicoke location.
Mark grew up in the GTA and played his minor hockey in the GTHL playing for the Mississauga Reps and Senators. Then players in the OPJHL and MJHL. After his Jr. career he played in Europe in the BeNe. He has been coaching and developing hockey players for the last 12 years. Mark enjoys mentoring his students and enjoys giving back to the game. He also is a shooter at The Crease Goaltending Academy. Mark has been with JSI Hockey for the past 2 years. He is a certified Base and Sense Instructor. Mark works at both our Etobicoke and Oakville location.
Joseph Giovenco has played hockey for the last 15 years. He grew up in the playing in the GTHL at the AAA and AA level. He last played for the OJHL St. Michaels Buzzers. Joseph has worked for The crease Goaltending Academy for the last 6 years, he has experience working with kids of all ages. Joe is a certified Base & Sense instructor. Joe works at the JSI Hockey Etobicoke location.
Laine Padovan grew up in Guelph playing girls rep hockey. She played 2 seasons for the Cambridge Junior Rivulettes in the PWHL. Laine recently played 4 years in St. Catharines for the Intermediate A team and was captain for her last 2 years. She brings a lot of experience working with hockey players of all ages. She is a recent Honours Graduate from Brock University’s Sports Management Program where she also played Softball for 3 years. Laine is looking forward to using her university degree and extensive background within the hockey industry at the JSI location in Oakville.
